The city is surrounded by water canals, like Venice in Italy, and is located 80nm North of Barcelona and just 20nm from France border. It is indeed a very busy aerodrome with Twin Otter and Pilatus based aircraft going up and down constantly, student and private pilots coming in for a day visit, parachutes landing both sides of the runway and all coordinated with just an air to air frequency. Empuriabrava Aerodrome for MSFS has been built from scratch as per year 2022.
